The Birds

Had a bit of a Hitchcock moment this morning. Came down quite early to a quiet house and was standing in the hall talking to my daughter on my mobile. Suddenly out of no-where swooped an enormously  large black bird, raven wings spread, yellow eyes glistening it launched itself directly at my head. Like any normal person I screamed,dropped the phone and fled into the kitchen.  On retrieving the phone I as met by an unsympathetic giggling daughter 'Well Mummy, you live in the country now....'
